I’m late. I know! I get it. But honestly, get used to it. I’m always late. OK!? I get caught up in things, sidetracked and swept away-typical Alyssa. In this post you will find out a few other Typical Alyssa traits and qualities.
In all honestly, I have a lot going on and not much brain space to write something deep, meaningful, funny, intellectual…you know-the usual (I’m so humble). I am currently balancing a part-time job, a job search and wedding planning all while trying to not rip my head off and toss it like a bowling ball.
As a nice break from the real world and a rest on my pulsating brain-I’ve decided to do something I’ve always wanted to do! I’ve always wanted to write something that is all about Alyssa (again..humble) for all the people who read my blog and don’t really know me. I’ve tried writing one of these before but always had other stuff I wanted to get off my chest instead-so it sat. But not today! Today it goes live!
Without further ado-Let’s get familiar, eh?
Are you named after anyone? A waitress, actually. And thank God for her, because I love my name. My mom saw her name tag and that was it.
Who is your favorite artist? Jon Bellion. OnCue. The Spill Canvas. Mayday Parade. Post Malone. Flo-Rida (legit. man makes nothing but hits).
If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? You know, I often think about this. I think so-most of the time at least. Sometimes, I’m a bit extra but most of the time I’m cool.
Do you use sarcasm a lot? I actually use ONLY sarcasm.
What’s your favorite cereal? I really don’t do the whole cereal thing. Don’t like milk. Or being on the clock-trying to finish breakfast before it gets soggy.
What’s the first thing you notice about people? Their hair. Love hair.
Scary movie or happy endings? Scary movies. Happy endings are often bullshit. Scary movies are more realistic. Life is really just about running away from scary things (responsibilities) while screaming and hiding in all the wrong places. They always find you….
Favorite smells? Coffee, anything lime and sea salt scented and Grilled Hot Dogs (capitalized so you understand the importance).
Summer or winter? Winter in the Summer and Summer in the Winter. Us New Englanders..
Computer or television? People.
Do you have any special talents? I would say I am semi-creatively talented. Often times my Pinterest projects aren’t fails. Maybe that just means I’m good at following directions, which is special and a win in my book.
Where were you born? Connecticut.
What are your hobbies? Varies from week to week. This week it is sewing. I am trying to turn a t-shirt into a pillow case. Last week I was making bracelets. Next week is a mystery. Some consistent hobbies though are writing, reading, driving with my windows down, pinky swearing and dancing at dive bars.
Do you have any pets? Sedo and Jack (Cat and Dog)
Favorite movie? The Illusionist. Cruel Intentions. I don’t really do movies either..
Do you have any siblings? Yes. The one and only Midge Maroney.
What do you want to be when you grow up? I don’t know. Some days I want to marry rich, other days I want to take over the world. It’s a toss up.
What was favorite subject at school?: History. I started out in college as an History major, but switched later when I realized remembering the dates is way less fun than reading about them.
What is your favorite drink?: Coffee.
What is your favorite song at the moment?: This is hard because it depends on my mood. Is it Friday night and I’m about to dance the night away? Then its T-shirt by Migos. Am I driving around in my car? Then it’s T-shirt by Migos. Am I about to go to bed? Then its T-shirt by Migos. What am I listening to right now? Helpless by John Mayer.
What is your favorite food?: Every food.
Favorite book of all time?: PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER.
Favorite Color?: Black.
What’s your favorite thing to do on a Saturday night? Few vodka seltzers, few good songs and a dive bar with the best/most fun humans on this planet earth.
Have you ever been out of the country, if so how many times?: Yaasss! I’ve been to England, Paris and Barcelona.
Do you speak any other language?: Funny story….I took 10 years of Spanish, minored in it AND traveled to Spain…but no.
Which would you rather have, 100 million dollars or true love? That’s tough because I’ve never felt 100 million dollars…. But……I mean……Sorry Nick.
If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to? Bugfoot.
How tall are you?: 5 feet and 2 inches.
Bad Habits?: I’m incredibly anxious all the time about all the things. I am also very opinionated (I’m working on it). I don’t know how to say NO, unless its to Nick. Also, I often forget to respond to text messages (sorry). I ruin surprises, because I hate them. I am incapable of saying “I love you”. Like, Liar Liar “The pen is royyyalll bllueeee” incapable. Let’s just stop there, shall we?
And that’s a wrap! I could go on forever because this is fun, but I am sure most of you haven’t even made it this far. After reading this, do you want to be my friend? No..I’m serious. I have a few spots open…Call me..
